Student’s obstacles in learning volume of cube and cuboid

چکیده
The concept of volume is a significant taught from elementary school to high level. However, many students still have difficulty in learning the volume, especially cube and cuboid. This study aims identify obstacles that occur junior related cubes research method uses an interpretive paradigm which part Didactical Design Research (DDR). Data analysis was obtained test consisting five questions cuboid, given thirteen one schools Jambi City; interviews with three who said they had obstacles. results showed experienced types obstacles: epistemological obstacles, ontogenic didactical this can be used by other researchers as material for consideration designing designs cuboids, then analyzing process implementing design create revised based on previous implementation. Through teachers minimizing occurrence so take place optimally.
